Can you sit too low in Kinnick?

I've never sat lower than the 30th row on the sidelines, because I love sitting higher to be able to really see the whole field, but my boys want to sit down near the players. My question is, if you had the opportunity to sit somewhere near mid-field, which row would be the lowest you'd sit to be able to still see really well, or isn't there a "too low"?

I had a relative that used to play for them and I was able to sit in the parent section with his folks which starts in the 1st row at about the 20ish yardline going towards the 30 and up about 10 rows. It starts in the section next to the students. We bounced around all over in there for that season and if your kids are a little older it's awesome. I was able to hear Phil Parker cussing out guys as plain as day. (believe me he cusses like a sailor) I also was able to witness when Iowa had the ball the other teams defenses checking and pointing to where they knew the play was going (the predictable zone run to the short side of the field) That was pretty frustrating. If your a fan 4 rows up and can clearly hear the players yelling and pointing where a play is going before the snap... But I digress. If you can get seats that close even for just one game I'd do it. Come early and enjoy. You'll have a tough time being able to see what's going on at the North end but other than that it's awesome.

One game I was able to sit three rows up on the 50. They were my sister's tickets I usually sit on the five about 35 rows up. This was on the visitor side. It was a great experience. The guys in back of me were heckling pretty good and maybe some of the things they said weren't the most kid-friendly haha. Was a great experience and I'd love to do it again.

I had first row 50 yard line, visitor side seats against Penn St in 1993. I think they've taken out and/or covered those first few rows since. Close enough to reach out and touch the players at the time. But bad seats. Very difficult to see over the players unless you were standing. They were often standing on the benches. Had the PSU players not been in the way, it would have been cool. The game was also a blowout which didn't help

I sat in row 1 behind the visitors bench when I was a kid. Can't see the game but you are truly sitting with the team. Northwestern coach Dennis Green said a whole bunch of words that I had never heard before. I am talking virtually every other word. It was unbelievable. His sentences would only be three words long if he left out the cuss words.

Have sat on the 45, row 3. Right behind the DB's. Felt sorry for kids hearing Phil Parker. But it was great hearing a special team player (Jack Swanson) yell back at the drunken fool next to me. "Dude WTF is wrong with you" after the guy drank 10 tiny bottles of vodka and could no longer make words.
