If you are talking about a signed LOI, the player can return without penalty if he hasn't played or practiced with a new team.

Tucker may still be in school but question is, Did he sign anything with Winona or wherever he may be planning to go? I assume not since LOI cant be signed until April but..
Given his past issues, it is also very possible a new coach, if Lick is fired, wouldnt want him on team either.

True, but you never know. It would be nice to have his shooting ability around, especially if somebody who ran a more uptempo offense came in......if in fact Lick is no longer at Iowa.

Couldn't disagree more. I was a big advocate of keeping Tucker around. I thought that his penalty was too severe for what he did. I thought that Lick handled it about as bad as he possibly could.
