Can someone please provide me with a weather update?

Thx. The snow has stopped in Evanston and there seems to be some melting, but the Lake is still keeping it a little warm. Anyone in DeKalb, QC or IC have any updates?
 
Weather channel looked as if snow moving east Sat. AM. ICity with lingering flurries at 11. Friend in IC is excited as hell for this day!! Temp near upper 20's. Heat wave for Packer fans.

Little east of Davenport has 2-3 inches maybe.

This is the winter warning for my area:


  • ... WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST SATURDAY...
  • * TIMING... SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.
  • * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS... 6 TO 13 INCHES. THE HIGHER AMOUNTS CURRENTLY LOOK TO BE CENTERED FROM HIGHWAY 30 ON NORTH.
  • * WIND... NORTHEAST 10 TO 20 MPH BECOMING NORTHWEST WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH AROUND DAYBREAK SATURDAY.
I'd say closer to 4-5 inches tops, but I could be wrong.

Great news. Snow moving east quickly. Radar looking great. Clear the road and off to the game. I can't, but my friends in Cedar Rapids can!!

It seems like this was less bad than predicted. Now, let's just hope my buddy doesn't oversleep.

Welp, we made it to O'Hare before turning around. Not a flake of snow in my neighborhood, just some rain. Not bad. 5 miles to the west and it was getting bad and 294 was on the cusp of turning into a sheet of ice. Gonna have to watch it on TV.
 
It's still coming down good in Iowa City with lots of blowing snow. We probably have 6 inches of snow so far. Bundle up!!
 
Should rename this storm with a male's name.....brags about bringing 12", actually packing 5".
