All of the guys are making good decisions on offense. They are moving the ball quickly and crisply. The right guy is taking the right shot from the right place the majority of the time...unselfish basketball. Every player is better when the team is working together and running the offense.

Wisconsin is exceptional at this...has been for years. We have been very good at this of late. If the guys keep playing smart and unselfish basketball we're going to win a lot of games and I'm not just talking regular season. I should add that the defensive effort has been there and is just as important.

If Gabe can add a Head Smash, or a ear flick he will be right up there with Woodbury. Always liked Gessell, glad to see him improving.

Gesell is a better player and point guard than they thought, and that Woodbury is definitely better than olaseni.

i enjoy watching sports in general but I cringe to think about how fans react to players when they struggle even though all players go through those times. Gesell is the guy that makes the offense run and Woody is the guy that directs the defense. They are much better players than their stats as they do a lot of things that don't show up on the stat line.

I'll admit I was wrong about Gesell. I was high on him as a freshman, thought he regressed last year a bit, and then struggled to start the season. I even started a thread a few months back wondering if he was a legit starter in the Big Ten. I've been proven wrong as he's been very effective more than not. I'll gladly eat crow here. Never had a problem with Woodbury and like his game.

The improvement by Gesell and Woodbury has been tremendous.

Olaseni is a great sixth man coming off the bench. Excellent player, but I agree, Woodbury should be the starter. He is playing the best basketball of his career

When your shooting guard is actually shooting and hitting shots, it makes everyone look better. All the sudden Mike gets assists etc. Jok continuing to hit shots will make a huge difference in this team and open some things up I think. Crossing my fingers it will continue! But yes, Mike and Woody have played solid as of late and its good to see!

Can't use the "it's the 2 guard holding Mike back" excuse anymore. Time to admit the kid just isn't good.
