Can Baylor hang 70 on Moo U?

Its sucks losing to isu, but they are likely the best team we've played this year, them or Pitt.

I would like Baylor to put up 60+ against the Clones....but Baylor is very good and isu has put up 21.

That loss is still burning my a$$.

yeah, that loss definitely is a conversation killer. hard to jab the clownz when you lose to them.

baylor has no defense, and when they play someone WITH a defense, they are beatable, as is shown time and time again.

No it is not hard to jab the clown fans especially if they get trounced a few times this year and if they only win 3-4 games.

The clowns will win a few more this year.

Pitt would destroy Iowa State IMO. Iowa State isn't that good and I'd say Northern Iowa is better then they are. Buffalo put up 21 on Baylor as well so I wouldn't say their defense is that special.

In closing, I'd say Iowa State is most likely the 3rd best team Iowa has faced this season after Pitt and Northern Iowa.

paw just went for it on 4th and 1 and lost yardage - another lateral run play ala v. KSU - go straight up the gut paw - should have learned v. KSU when it cost you the game.

agreed, but losing to them takes all the fun out of it. well, maybe a lot of the fun...

Baylor has the backups in - I suppose briles realizes its in his best interest to not get rhoads fired.

naw, wally just dialed up another gem tonight - kept a baylor team under 60 is high level stuff. Briles just probably wants to keep the squad healthy given the level of a, a, a, a, a, a, physicality out there......

ISU's offense was overmatched by Baylor's defense up front, but Mangenius actually called a pretty decent second half considering the massive talent gap. If he gets a few weapons on offense and they bolster that line, Greg Davis is gonna get schooled in the coming years.

The first answer to the question "how can you not think KFz is a great coach" ...is, and will always be...How can he so frequently lose to a trash heap like ISU?

On a side note... unless there are fatalities.. I couldn't care less if Jack Once burned to the ground.

Ya, KF just doesn't care if he beats the Clowns or not. Makes it miserable for those of us that do.

KF coaches the same way against Iowa State as he does against everyone else. (sleepwalking)
Every game is close regardless of how bad the the teams are (see ISU, Ball State, Purdue, etc.) Games against the better teams (Wisc. Neb. Maryland, etc.) will be close too. When you coach like that you have a chance to beat anybody. The flip side of that is that you can lose to anybody, too. We see it most every year. Head scratching losses to crap teams like ISU, even at Kinnick.
ISU, once again will struggle to win 3 fricking games and one of them will have been against Iowa at Kinnick.

The sad truth is that isu is not that good and will lucky to win 4 games this year. You have 3 teams that are not that good and should be wins (iowa, Kansas, and Toledo) and Rhoads will find a way to beat at least one team that is better. No big surprises so far.

I see what you did there.

Iowa State beat Iowa so now they can just mail in the season. Rhodes made that game their Super Bowl this season for the first time since McCarney was in Ames.

They won't win another game the rest of the season. Unless they play Kansas. They MIGHT pull that one out.

To be fair, Iowa id the worst team Isu has played, so it would make sense in some ways that it would've the only win, beyond some sort of super bowl. Plus as an Isu fan I can assure you this season sucks and the only comfort in beating Iowa is some reduced smack talk.

My clown neighbor was actually bragging about how many points they scored. Anytime I can see paw get owned, works for me.

lastly, in pure isu fan fashion, boooooooooo! You know they probably would have won but that pass interference call in the first qtr just changed the momentum.
