I agree that Campbell is a good coach. He outcoached our staff for most of the night last night, but that isn't hard to do. As for Martin, he was out there a few times last night, but he looks to have trouble getting separation, as do most of our receivers. He has good hands, but isn't a speedster by any means. As for the receivers playing really well, well not sure because how many passing tds did we have against a team with a terrible pass defense? How much of it is the receivers not getting open, or Stanley just not seeing them? If you go to the games there are times where Stanley flat out misses guys breaking wide open. The pass to Smith Marsette on 3rd and 22 was a beauty, but he is unwilling to throw the ball like that consistently. It's almost like he said screw it, and just zipped it in there. Smith dropped a sure TD pass that should have been caught, although the pass was high and in the only spot the defender could make the play, but Brandon looked to be about 6 inches taller than their defensive backs, and was a very good high jumper, and we didn't take advantage of it the entire night. I'm not sure where our points are going to come from against better teams. We have no rushing attack again, and we will see much better defenses than what we struggled with last night.
