Actually, when I questioned his greatness I based my claim on his not being in the Top Ten in the conference in points, rebounds, or assists.

Since that moment he went from being number 15 in points in the conference to getting to number ten and now he is shooting for the top 5.

Not delusional enough to think my words meant anything, but it is a fairly strange coincidence.

Also, as I said, I base my comments on observable data. Matt didn't have the numbers in his favor before. But that was then...

Still have to wait until after the season to see where he fits in Hawkeye History though. He could be be a guy who put together a special season at just the right time, or a guy who had a really good streak and then cooled off. Hope to goodness it is the first.
