Byrd sets decision date

So Byrd has set his date to decide and it is next Wednesday...hopefully he'll be a hawk but that South Carolina visit might have been enough for him.

This is the part people need to look at. The world Already. It means they were in good standing with him before the visit. It hints that he made his decision to go there, and that they won him over. Plus he has to know his decision, why else would he set a date to announce it. He made his decision late saturday night or sunday im guessing...its to bad...

Hopefully I don't sound like a snob for this but... 5-9 160lb burner... we already have one of these, and he only ever gets to run the reverse (Chaney)... I think we'll be fine without Byrd. If he comes to Iowa great, if not... have fun in South Carolina.

Agreed. the 6-2 or 6-4 WR work better in Iowa's system. I think the guy would be great, but it's not that big of a deal. I would rather see Arnett become a hawkeye honestly.

But,Byrd was clocked at 4.26 in the 40, the fastest time ever recorded at a Nike Sparq event. So, while we have a fast guy in Chaney, this kid is off the charts.

I think he is a goner,but would love to be wrong.
