Bullies of the Big 10 Again

Can we please let this go. One dumb announcer makes one comment that we like that makes us feel all tough and cool and we think we own the big. Ohio state, Michigan state, and Wisconsin (yes I know we beat them by four points) hear that and laugh. We have been dog crap for a while now and haven't bullied anyone. When we run the table two to three years in a row, maybe. Until then, let it go.

I agree completely. This isn't about whether they are as good as those prior D's, but rather their attitude. I love it!

Agreed, whether they are, or are not, the "bullies of the Big 10" again is pretty irrelevant to me.. As long as the attitude is there and they're playing well, the rest will take care of itself. This D is getting the job done, and that's what counts. I don't care about labels.

You mean the same OSU team that had a dog fight with Indiana? Or the MSU team that Purdue had on upset alert? By no means am I saying we're the cream of the crop, but the gap between the elites in this conference is getting smaller by the minute. Its a mindset and right now our defense is locked in to that mentality. Whether they've earned the "bullies" reputation is disputable, but the fact is they're playing like they believe it and have looked good doing it.

Personally I love that mentality. At least he didn't say they're playing like Blackshirts from Lincoln.
