BTN not on Dish Network ?!?!

Don't know if i'm having a momentary lapse, but I have Dish, and last night when I went to turn on the BTN, it was nowhere to be found. It was on channel 9500, which now appears to be gone. Has anyone else noticed this?

It is on several different channels on Dish, due to DishNetwork using several different satellite for reception. I have always used channel 439. FWIW, right now I see it on both of those channels, 439 and 9500.

If you have the bronze package, you have to pay extra for the regional sports pakage to get BTN.

Don't know where you're located, but in TX we have to have the "sports pack" in order to get the Big10 Network. It is located on 439 here.

Yeah, I've had all the proper sports/channel packages, and have been receiving the channel since it started up until yesterday. Sounds like it might just be me, as all of you seem to still be getting it.

As I understood it, when BTN was launched and soon after picked up by Dish Network:

If you live in a state with a Big 10 school, BTN will come with the Basic package at least for the term of the Dish/BTN agreement.

For all other states, BTN was to come with the basic package for one year. After that time, you would be required to subscribe to the "Sports Package" to receive it. Dish picked up BTN in September '07.
