Good touch on the ball to Ragaini, and he shook wide open, but not very realistic that you would have that much time to survey the field at the goal-line. My reaction to the play wasn't, "Great throw!", it was, "That's a sack."
 

Does that mean the two have separated themselves from the rest of the pack, or does it mean one has separated himself from the other?
 
If there is one thing I'm excited to hear...it's that Nixon is showing up at DT. Holy crap...we gonna get after the passer. That's just huge...natural size and if he has a motor...holy crap. Phil doesn't single people out lightly. He's got to be thrilled with DN stepping up to the challenge. DL could go 270, 295, 305, 280...and all these guys move really freaking well.

They have separated themselves from the other backs, meaning they are clearly the Top 2 players at the position.

I'm in the gym from 5-6:30 every weekday, and I've watched each team's so far. Last night was Nebraska, it was me and one older guy, mid 50's, semi-regular flabby exercise biker, head to toe in Nebraska stuff who probably stopped me ten different times to debate some kind or another husker bullshit. Kept telling me "Frost is going to straighten everyone out," "Hayden was a good coach but never really did anything," "Martinez this, Martinez that..."

I don't know where he's from and he's only been coming in for the last 3-4 months to waste time on that exercise bike, but if we lose and I have to listen to that simple-minded F give me shit about it this fall he's going to find my post-workout Hanes in his duffel bag. I know which locker he uses, and it's not my fault that my gym hands out free combination locks and he doesn't use them.
 
I think it's a little disappointing Beyer hasn't shown more than he has or there hasn't really been any tidbits from camp about how he's doing. I was hoping he would have taken more of a step forward.

He blocks well on the punt return team. He needs to show more awareness there though.
