BTN - Big Ten Icons -Tom Osbourne

This is the only thing that pizzes me off when the B10 network does one of these polls or icon shows. Nebby and Tommy O did none of these accomplishments while being a member of the B10 they were Big 8/12 members. Whatever they did in their previous conference should not be included in a best of the Big10 show. /End Rant and Phuck Nebby and Tommy O that sleaze bag sack of monkey feces.

yeah this is lame - and so was giving all the PSU players icon status. John Cappelletti was amazing against Tosu in the 1 on 1 matchups with Archie?
But it is the BTN's and not the Big Ten's icon list. More people in it means more fans of other teams watch the shows = more ads they can sell?

yeah they won games (and championships) - i'm not sure if it was before or after the name of the BIG TEN was adopted. anyways - i can't think of anyone else in this riddle.

EDIT - there may be a point to this exercise - meaning someone is suggesting that guys from the old western conference should not be allowed either. i don't know - just wondering why this question in this thread

Yep, it's all just a shallow marketing ploy.
 
The BTN is truly a joke. Nice revenue stream for the conference, but a complete and utter joke of a network. But, you take the good and the bad with narrow casting.
 
Unless I missed something, the vacated wins are from 1998-2011. PSU won conference games between 1993-1997.

My bet would be that far less will be shown on JoePa. But that doesn't mean that guys like Ki-Jana Carter, Curtis Enis, etc. shouldn't be featured if the BTN so chooses.
