BTN Announces Night Game Schedule: No Iowa

Not having all of your teams represented in at least one night game per season is a joke.

Again, I point out that I don't see Ohio State or Michigan getting any BTN night-lovin', so, what's the uproar about?

Tells me that BTN knows Iowa's status and probably already conceded they will be regulars on ABC / ESPN / or the duece.

OSU & MI probably didn't get "BTN night lovin" because they have already been selected for prime time coverage by the bigger networks............

Obviously, since Iowa (read: the suits) hate night games because of the extra drunkiness, etc which ensues, this is unadulterated bribery from the Iowa coffers to the BTNs.

Somebody call Obama. They could be bigger than Watergate.

Bob read the thread before commenting.

I read the thread. You just don't like being "schooled" when you are proven wrong. Kirk was emphatic in 2002 that consistent routine was a huge part of the success formula for that season.

As for recruiting, YOU and others mentioned it, not me.

Your gig is up. You show more Scorp-ness with every post. 500 more posts and you reach Ghost-level. Trust me, Ghost-level sucks.

ISU in 2002 was a later kick than 2:30. More like 5 PM local time.

Iowa seemed to perform just fine in 2009 when they played 3 night games (home against Michigan, at PSU, at MSU).

I dont buy that reasoning just because both teams have to play the waiting game when it comes to night games.

Of course we CAN do well in night games. But you're also citing one season. I can cite: 2004 at ASU, 2006 home against OSU, 2007 at Wisconsin, and on and on.

Just saying consistent start times leads to more consistent game-day routine. Some coaches like that.

NIU at night would have been fun. But I think all games are fun, so I'm fine with zero night games. In fact, I love 11am games. Bring 'em on.

Agree...I don't care if Iowa never plays another night game (unless it is a bowl game). Give me 11:00 kicks every time.
