I see they are trying to make a deal with Mediascum to carry the Iowa nc games not on the BTN. The first year the BTN was on they could not make a deal with Mediascum, and the told Iowa fans to get a dish. Dish and Direct sold so many dishes they had to bring in installers from out of state. What a slap in the to the people who got a dish.

Why does Iowa even have a contract with Mediacom, with the inception of BTN?
For reasons like this, where the BTN is not putting Iowa games on TV.

I hope they get it! I can't stand dish, can stand Mediacom, but they have the best cover in the state and they are not Sinclair or whoever was holding us hostage before. I want to watch my Hawkeyes! And NOT pay a fortune for BTN.com to watch on my computer. I want it on the big screen.

people need to get over the mediacom hate. they're finally realizing they made a mistake not supporting Iowa well and now they start doing that and people get upset??? they have the best broadband in state, yea they mess up on customer service a lot but I'm not gonna hate on them for paying dollars to my beloved team and trying to pick up games currently only available online.

I get the 40 mbps fiber optic from Century Link for $25/month no contract. So when my promotion ends i just call and get another. Mediacom can't come close to that.
