Bryan Mattison starting at center for Ravens tonight

I recall reading about him switching from D line to O line earlier this year but I didn't think it was anything other than a shot at a practice squad spot. It looks like he's got a decent shot at making the roster.
 






On the Raven's TD, Gruden said that Mattison, the former DL, played it "like a wiley 'ol veteran".

Too bad the announcer didn't mention UofI along with his comment.
 




Bryan just got great props again from Gruden & CO, He's now a 300 plus lineman and I wouldn't doubt he could end up having a 10 year career.
 


That is crazy impressive. I can't imagine the chances of making it at that level after switching positions.
 


This is just like when my peewee coaches moved me from TE to center in 5th grade! Except for the boatloads of cash Bryan will make because of his move, I mean...:eek:
 


I keep forgetting him and Pascal are still floating around the league.


Interesting stat from the paper the other day. Of the 35 guys on a NFL roster 19 are from a NP defense.

There was more mention of Mattison in the late in the 2nd Quarter, and they talked of his time at Iowa.

So what you're REALLY trying to say is that of the 35 guys on an NFL roster, 16 are from a KOK offense!?!? :p
