Bruce Feldman on playoff - Iowa

One of the things I can't stand about college football media. If you don't have a team loaded with 4 and 5 -star recruits then you have no business winning and being highly ranked. They almost pray those teams will lose so all will be right with their world and LSU, Bama, FSU, OSU, USC, OU, ND and a few others fill up the top 10. A team like Iowa being successful just grates on people like Cowherd... who's a grade-A tw*t anyway.

How much fun is it to be in the conversation again? At this point, it doesn't matter what peoples' opinions are, the fact is Iowa is being talked about.

I enjoy Cowherd... always thought he was one of the best in the biz.

He's out in Pac 12 country... he's just playing to his audience.

Cowherd is a complete tool ... but I guess they can both kind of be "right."

Feldman thought he was asked who he'd put in RIGHT NOW, based on resume.

Cowherd wanted him to answer "who are the four best teams" ... or "who would you put in based on WHAT YOU THINK they'll have done by season's ned?" He asked the wrong question.

I concede the point that a number of teams could pass us up, because they have more to gain to wrap up the season. But those are all potential victories. We have the actual tough victories right now. But, we don't have another opportunity for a a real resume boosting win ... unless we make it to Indy. Other teams have those chances - but they could also lose.

No matter what, it's great having the team in the conversation. Win the games on your schedule, hope others lose the ones on theirs.

Still a great problem to have.

Cowherd has always been for the Pac 10 just like Dan Foust. They live out there so they think there the only conference that matters.

I completely agree with Feldman. People like Cowherd don't look at the actual resumes they just rely on "eyeball test" which says what...Ohio State just looks faster and blacker? Its really a stupid argument.

At the end of the year Iowa's resume won't be as good as it is now because of the people they still have to play, but RIGHT NOW Iowa has one of the best resumes of the undefeated teams. There's simply no denying it.
