Bru is one slick salesman

Lol, I was at a car dealership just today test driving a couple of different models of mitsubishi. I know the engines are made in Japan as are the transmissions. How they rate against Hondas and Toyotas I have now idea. We drove a Galant, Lancer, and their small SUV. Anyone have any perspectives on the Mitsubishi brand?

I only have had the Evo's and loved them!!! Any 4 wheel drive car will be expensive if the tranny goes. I think their very dependable cars but again haven't owned other models.

Thank you for that insight. I see on the Internet that the Galant has a high customer rating. My son who is 16 was quick to point out that their Eclipse also has an excellent rating..... Lol, sure son, sure! Although it really is a sharp and sporty looking car that I can see myself zipping around on the Atlanta highways on. We actually looked at three of them but they were all stick and I am the only one out of the four drivers in my family that knows how to drive a manual transmission......hmmmmmm???? I will test drive one if they can find an automatic. My wife's baby is the new civic ex with sunroof, alloy wheels, fog lights and power everything. It doesn't even have 10k miles on it yet and still has that new car smell but I betcha if I got a new 2012 eclipse with a sunroof that I would find that I am the new owner and primary driver of a civic.....lol.

I used to own a small Mitsubishi van that was great. Put tons of miles on it and it took my wife's half-wit nephew's inability to drive to kill it.

I think they need to air that commercial just like that.

That IS the commercial...it's a sorry attempt to be funny. I seriously hope that he could spin a basketball on his finger for more then 2 seconds if he really tried. ;)

Always liked him. Glad he can make a couple bucks off his Hawkeye career, not his fault the coach at that time was a worthless pile of garbage.

I don't find anything "sorry" about it...and I wouldn't be so fast to think it was set up to look like he couldn't do it...it would be even harder to make it look like he couldn't do it since he knows how (if you get my meaning, try bobbling a catch on purpose to look like you made a great one when you were a kid)...looks to me like it was a few ill-fated attempts from what was probably going to be a straight forward commercial and they said "F it, let's go with the outtakes instead"...or it could all be fake...either one. :D

The Eclipse and the 3000 (don't make anymore) series always had a reputation of fun to drive if you like to working on cars... of course those cars are typically driven by youngsters... so take that for what it was worth. Never hear much about the other models...

He's still making bucks off his Hawkeye career.
He's playing overseas on a Swiss team right now.
