Brohm Staying at Purdue

Brohm has beaten KF both times they've faced each other, home and away. Both games were completely dictated by Purdue and how they wanted to play. Purdue has equal or lesser talent than Iowa on their team. That's coaching.

KF has bested Harbaugh one time, at home, at night. Can't take anything away from that. Paul Chryst is a good coach, but also has more talent on his roster than Iowa. So it's tough to say he's for sure better than KF.

It seems to me like you're determining based solely on legacy numbers. That doesn't really make much sense at all. Just because KF has been around longer doesn't make him a better coach at this time. That's like saying Andy Dalton is a better QB than Patrick Mahomes because Dalton has more career wins.

Jeff Brohm is a 6-6 coach. He got blown out by row your boat and lost to E Michigan. He eeked out a win against Indiana to go to the Car Care Bowl probably. Let me know when he accomplishes something.

My opinion is that Wisconsin has dominated the West. They've won 60% of the division titles but on a very small sample size.

My opinion is that Iowa is a mid-level West team. They have finished 4th, 1st, 2nd, 4th, & 4th since the West was formed.

Iowa finished in a tie for 2nd, not 4th. Tie-breakers don't count or matter if you're not 1st.

Eggsactly. And to the morons saying we are 4th just because we lost to each of Purdue, Northwestern and Wisconsin, I say, with all due respect, you are idiots. The tiebreaker in determining order for 2nd is NOT head to head, it is overall record. Iowa was 3-0 non-con, Wisconsin was 2-1 and Purdue was 1-2, therefore Iowa is 2nd, not fourth.

Again, that coach you're shitting all over, has beaten our coach two years running.

That's about the dumbest shit I've ever read.

Again, he also got blown out by Minnie, a team Iowa dominated. This year's game against Purdue was a fluke that could have gone either way. Personally, I hope Jeff Brohm finds his way out of the Big Ten, not because I think he's a great coach but because he recruits suspiciously well for a coach that hasn't accomplished anything.

But if you were actually going to have a tie breaker for 2nd place, you sure AF wouldn't use overall record, unless the head to heads are unable to determine it. In this case, Iowa finishes 4th since they lost to both Wisky & Purdue.

We had guys hurt in both games, numbnuts. Iowa finished second in the division. Zero doubt about it.

No, no. It makes more sense to say Iowa is tied for 2nd place in the B1G. Seriously what evidence could possibly exist that Purdue and Wisconsin are better than Iowa this season???? There is no evidence that exists. Henceforth, Iowa is not 4th, rather a tie for 2nd.

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter who is better. It only comes down to wins and losses. Iowa finished 4th in the B1G West.

When you're talking programs, I don't see how you can put together any kind conclusion yet. Both Fleck and Frost are just starting up their programs. We won't know how they stack up for quite some time. Not sure how you're comparing the programs of a coach that's been around for 20 years and ones that have only had 1 or 2 years.
I have my reasoning pretty clearly. I also gave specific criteria that could push them ahead of Kirk.
