Broderick Binns Hired as New GA at Iowa?

....also, and WAY off topic... is there an android app for this site? thought there was supposed to be one by now?
 
I believe a GA can perform recruiting activities they just can't travel to do it. There's a lot of potential recruiting value that some individuals could bring to a program even without traveling it would seem............on campus visits, helping review data/film on prospects, etc.

I'm not certain but I think they might even be able to make phone calls in a recruiting effort.

At one time there was one, but it in my opinion it wasn't very good. I just pulled up the regular site on my phone cause the app wasn't as good. I wouldn't look for bells or whistles around here. We once had a cool fake gambling thing that was fun but I'm not sure if it was just a front to distribute viruses or what but that went away and never came back. Basically I wouldn't think about an app if we can't figure out how to have a like button...

Time will tell. Right now he is here to teach the one thing he excelled at - Containment. AC got all the press for his ability to penetrate but BB held his side of the field game in and game out. Even back in 2008 you could see it. That and unaturally long arms.
 
Also off topic, but regards Binns. When he had that pick 6 at Arizona, I barfed all over the stairs at Arizona's stadium. Drinking all day, 110 degree heat and going crazy like a fool in the drop of a hat will do that
 
yes, I was serious. Sorry about that tho. When I first started visiting here I was truly challenged to figure out what you'uns where saying because there were so many abbreviations. Again, sorry to be so dense on this one. Carry on. :) Thanks TM.
 
I think you can be a GA for three years. Maybe two. And, you have to be enrolled as a grad student.
 
I "liked" the "like" button. Too bad that went away.
And, too bad the "app" thing doesn't look too promising, that would be a "good thing".
 
Confirmed. I heard already took off for Iowa City (from St. Paul) last Thursday. Too bad he couldn't sway Jashon. Still, it can't hurt that we will maintain that connection to CDH (the school where Jashon and loads of other talented student-athletes go).
