brickyard 400 baby!

pin2win

@hagertony
ok so im back to making predictions or race preview whatever you want to call it!

the brickyard is one of my favorite venues for nascar and the drivers only see the track once a season.

this race has been dominated by the 48 in the past years. the 48 has one 3 out of the last 5 races here and don't see him having a bad race here. he is the clear favorite. the only reason why he would be out of the top 5 would be to mechanical problems or a wreck caused by lapped drivers.

another driver gotta pick is the #14 tony stewart who has one here 2 out of the past 5 years. as ive stated before if its a hot day tony will pull away from everybody else.

next driver who i think has a chance as much as i hate to say it is the #24 jeff gordon. he has won this race 4 times and this year has been pretty goofy for this team. theres no better way than to win at the brickyard.

my picks:
johnson
stewart
gordon
harvick

darkhorse:
montoya
reutimann

This track is different than all the others...when I turn in on I can fall asleep in 1 minute instead of the other tracks where it is normally 2. Can't Wait!!!

I wouldn't call those picks going out on a limb. ;) Montoya should have won it last year.

Then again they are about the same guys I got to win.

yea not going out on a limb cuz i don't need too at this track or for any track just the way nascar is...can only go on past performances and knowledge. i try to get this predictions up at start of the week so i don't get to see practice or qualifying so yes they are bold in that sense because its all about qualifying most of the time

This may seem like a homer pick, since I am a Jr. fan, but I think this is the year he wins it. The last few years he's had a great car and setup changes caused tire issues. I believe all that changes this year.

Smoke and JPM would be my back-ups with my sleeper/dark horse being Jamie Mac.

I believe Landon Cassill from CR will be in the 71 car this week. Not sure how much of the race he'll get to participate but getting to spend all weekend on that track is pretty neat

i like Montoya. He should have won it last year, plus it would be cool to see Ganassi get the Daytona 500/Indy500/Brickyard 400 hattrick

great race today im shocked jamie won today but he had a damn good race

1.mcmurray
2.harvick
3.biffle
4.bowyer
5.stewart
6.burton
7.edwards
8.busch

ya pin great race and congrats to "Jamie Mac" and Chip Ganassi too!

I cant help but feel bad for JPM tho- that is 2 years in a row he had the best car
