Bielema has won 1 more game than KF with way more talent. He also walked into a better situation left by Alverez compared to Fry.

Also, WI has a population that is nearly double that of Iowa.

The jury is still out on whether Bielema > Ferentz

leave it to a clown to bring rational thought and calm sense to this board :)

Bert please. We have Iowa fans wanting Big Bert? The same coach that came into the season with his top 10 team and has lost the last two weeks to teams he was supposed to beat? These same hawk fans that want our coach gone because he has lost to teams he's supposed to beat? Geez, the hipocracy of it all. I think if KF had Bert's talent this year we would be looking at another BCS top ten finish.

Try not to be stupid here. Bielema lost to two respectable teams on the road in big games. Ferentz loses to bottom-feeders on an annual basis. Let's compare the track record of both programs since Bret took over. Since 2006 Bielema has finished in the top 25 all but one season. Iowa, twice. Iowa is becoming an afterthought in the league. You're still living in 2004 buddy.

No way in hell Bob Stoops leaves OU for Iowa so you can throw out all the Stoops bros. coaching at Iowa.

So because Bob has arguably the best job in the country, Mike or Mark wouldn't come coach at Iowa? That makes no sense whatsoever.

For the record, I don't even want Mike to be our head coach. But to say he wouldn't want to be simply because Bob isn't leaving OU is ridiculous. He may not want to coach at Iowa. But I would bet the farm that his reason isn't "Well, Bob isn't leaving Oklahoma to come here, so this can't possibly be a step up for me."

HC at Iowa is a step down for Bob. It's a step up for Mike or Mark.
