I believe Adam will contribute offensively sooner that most expect. That jump hook will be extremely difficult to stop and to me he appears quicker that people think.....

His defensive presense will deter a lot of shots. Saw some people back off when they saw him around the basket during the Quincy game. I realize that it was Quincy, but it should be effective against better teams. We shall see and have and have a good time watching it.....

Hawkeye fans should see a different Slime this year. A renewed attitude and effort from Melsahn should translate into better production the court.

I just meant in general. About every month last year, Fran would remind us that Mel lost weight, dedicated himself, started to focus, and would be back to his old self.

The article states that White creates matchup issues at the 3 spot. I actually think he creates more matchup issues at PF. At PF, he regularly beat his defender down the court and got a lot of easy fast break points.

I agree. I think he defends 4's better as well. He'll get eaten alive by BoneG 3's on defense.
