IOWA’S GRESSEL CITED FOR LEGAL ISSUE



IOWA CITY, Iowa - - University of Iowa football student-athlete Brant Gressel was cited for public intoxication by Iowa City law enforcement officials Saturday evening in Iowa City.



UI athletics department officials are in the process of gathering facts in regards to the incident. Gressel is subject to established university protocol in regards to the UI student life code of conduct and team rules and regulations set for members of the football program.


Gressel is a native of Centerville, Ohio, where he attended Centerville High School. He did not see action as a redshirt sophomore defensive lineman in 2015.

Didn't even know he was still with the team thanks for the update. OMG you mean a college kid got drunk again?!!! Glad the IC CSI unit is on it....this is a major case. Oh wait what about the other 10,000 underage teens drinking illegally..
