Workout video of his is pretty impressive. Shows very good athleticism and explosion. No wonder Fran and Bo wanted him:

How are you going to watch him do his stuff in the classroom? Are you a prof?

Looks like he could definitely be a solid asset for the team.

One thing I hate about those videos, though, is that they reveal too much information about the players in them. In this case, that information will likely be used against Iowa by fellow B10 coaches.

For example, because of this video it is now well known that Brandon cannot be stopped by the mere placement of inanimate objects on the court. He will simply dribble around them. That information has been revealed and you can't put that genie back in the bottle.

You don't think Izzo wrote that down in his little black book? Well guess what... he just did. He just did.

Brandon Hutton has been invited to the Reebok all-star game. They only invite the top 125 players. He kind of reminds me of Jimmy Jackson as far as his built. Both are pretty athletic and muscular guys. Hutton is working on his shot and Jackson was a pretty good shooter at Ohio State.

Looks like the type of player Fran wants, and I believe his value will rise as time goes on.....

No doubt. Not only tall, but solid too; A solid 93kg. Still can jump out of the gym. It looks like he could be Iowa's starting SG tomorrow. No doubt the vultures will be circling trying to poach this kid out of IC. He looks like the next Ricky Davis.

Sometimes it is just best to take your Azz kicking and leave it alone. Jack B!tched slapped you in Teh Wasteland, just let it be already. Keep your stupid azz trolling over there.

What would a guy give to have that size and athleticism..... He makes dunking look so easy. He was going like half speed it that it seemed like. Very smooth with the ball in his hands.

He looks much thicker in this video than he does in other pictures I've seen. I wonder if he'll grow taller too. I wouldn't be surprised if he came to Iowa well over 2 meters.

Its pretty obvious he is going to open some eyes once he gets to the University of Iowa.

It's too bad but, as far as I know, the timing of his injury prevented Hutton from doing any camps this summer. It will be interesting to see how he does this year at De La Salle HS in Chicago and if that ups his ranking at all. It looks like he may deserve it.

Just looking on the map where Hutton's HS is. He is about as far into downtown Chicago as you can get. Fran has definitely increased the inner city presence on the Iowa team with Dickerson (New York City) and now Hutton. That's got to be good for recruiting city kids.

He is suppose to be healthy now and was invited to the Reebok classic in early July, but I don't know if he accepted the invitation. I think he just played in some kind of tournament at DePaul. The video is from after he recovered from his ankle injury. The video is more impressive if you go to youtube and watch it.
