gets confusing, they are talking about why some yeams get left out.
one reason the NCAA is sending a msg to teams about playing teams in the lower conferences,
but they use the RPI as a reason to penalize them on being left out or giving them lower seeds,
by doing this it is a catch 22, if a team plays the lower tier conference teams,
what do they want?
if they want teams to play the lower midmajors its time to eliminate the RPI as a measuring stick
i find it surprising that a 14-4 Washington and a regular season Champion of the Pac 12 conference which is a BCS and a so called super 6 conference, can get left out.

They did not beat anybody in their OOC schedule, lost by 19 at home against SDSU, and was 1 and done in their conference tournament.

you do realize SDSU made the Dance, so how can you claim that as a bad loss?
the MWC a 8 team conference got 3 in the Dance, UNLV, SDSU and New Mexico, not to bad for a midtier conference to get 3 out of 8 into the dance.
for a change stop looking down your nose at the so called Mid Majors in BB, and take a real close at the teams in the BD. it not dominated by the high majors nor has it been dominated over the years.
some of the so called BBexperts have Montana beating Wisconsin. that is a pick of a Big Sky team over a BT team
