Bowl game viewership is gonna take a hit

It will take a minor hit, but I just don't see a lot of interest in that game. There wouldn't be many television's on the east coast staying up that late to watch the Insight Bowl to begin with. Is anyone in the midwest even watching the Vikings anymore? Maybe if Favre was playing there would be a little bit of an interest nationally, but really that game is a snooze fest.

The fact that they can't play the game due to fans not being able to make it to the stadium leads me to conclude that the B10 title game should be played in a dome, in Mexico City, where the likelihood of a snow storm would be lessened. Given this, plus the roof collapse at the Metrodome, we just can't risk it.

See that's the thing OK4P - they can't make it to the stadium... so who cares if the game is played outside or inside if the issue is getting to the stadium.

agreed. would make no sense to play a B10 title game outdoors, where all the other games are played. your suggestion has a lot of merit.

I know, so we have to take that element out of it, too. That's why we should move the B10 title game to a dome in Mexico City to make sure the fans can make it.

i also think the eagles should be blowing the vikes out by the time kickoff comes around.

Yep, this will just give the millions of NFL fans an actual "game" to watch. They will start channel surfing at halftime which will be around 9:00 Central
