Bowl Game 2023

Seems like the Citrus Bowl would actually be in play. The only rule I could find is that the Citrus needs to take 5 different teams over 6 years. Looks like 5 different teams the last 5 years, so assume Iowa would still be on the table?

I was at the White Out game in PSU and ended up sitting next to a Citrus Bowl rep in a bar. He did seem liked a junior member of the Citrus Bowl reps. And he said that both Iowa and PSU were eligible. That kind of confused me about Jerry Palm's reporting (who I normally think is on top of such things). I chalked it up to the rep didn't know what he was doing (which I had other reasons to believe as well). If all things were equal, I don't think that guy would vote to take the Hawks unless it was the only real choice.
