Borschel named Big 10 wrestler of the week



Iowa has two guys in the running for the Hodge trophy....Jay has looked pretty good so far....I just hate when he gives up an early take down
 


o man i wish we had two guys in the running but im sorry jay is not in the running for the hodge
 


Ok guys, first off I love it when Jay gives up that first takedown. It seems to **** him off and he brings a whole new attitude after that and I really like it. Second if Jay can perform like he did this weekend in Ohmaha he will be in the running for the Hodge award, although unlikely that he will beat out Metcalf he will still be in the running!
 


i just don't see how jay can be considered

he might be top 5

but just don't see him going in from of ness or metcalf...guess varner

of course there is a lot of wrestling left but just don't see it happening
 


I think that he can jump in front of Ness because I think that Ness loses. As long as he is undefeated he is "in the running." I guess that the same goes for Matt McD at this poitn... :)
