I have a sibling who lives in the same town. They are friends with the family. He is selecting his school based upon his major- Iowa does not have it. Secondly it is football. Just an FYI.

Not saying I don't believe you. But for a legitimate high-level recruit, with NFL aspirations, I'd think football development and NFL aspirations would/should EASILY outweigh his preferred major.

Doe he REALLY want to be an engineer?? Or does he want to play on an NFL defense?

Degree is #1 and football #2. Him and family are well grounded. Iowa does have a major close to what he wants but he has enough choices he does not need to make that compromise.
