Bohnenkamp: Cade McNamara Motivated

I recommend folks check out Cades tape from Michigan. His accuracy and timing with his receivers will be so noticeable right away. He throws such a catchable ball that he give his receivers a chance at getting RAC. Even on many of the completions Petras had he often was inaccurate with the throw. He'd miss high behind or low and the receiver wouldn't be able to RAC with it. Cade puts it right on his guys. Here's a tape I found and All is certainly a big part of it as well. He also show's his escapability in the pocket too. There's a lot to be excited about.

Handles pressure, faster than I expected, accuracy impressive, release is “flick of the wrist” quick, eyes always down field (big deal!), likes tight ends, Eric All! Yes, it’s a highlight film. Yeah, he has good receivers. Good feet in the pocket. This guy is a major, major upgrade over Iowa’s last two QB’s. Duh.

Nice find, Hawk f!

The other thing I started to pay attention to was the types of plays he'd make situationally. Alot of these were 3rd down plays. Converting 3rd downs is a such a game changer for an O. The 2nd play on this was a 3rd and 3. Quickly looked short and went deep. On 3rd and 16 he made a throw from one hash to outside the other to convert it. The type of thing BF normally wouldn't even attempt.

My favorite plays are the simple ones. I like the deep seam throws to the TE down the middle. If teams keep their safeties outside the hashmarks you can easily gash them with that.
