Somewhere along the line this "the public has a right to know" crap got started. (likely by reporters).

I would expect a different argument from you here if we were talking about KF and "Fort Kinnick".

Its really not speculation at all. Boeheim told Kats he would never talk to him again after the interview 2 years ago. Katz called Boeheim many times, left messages, never returned the call. Katz calls again, Boeheim finally answers and before Katz can get a word in Boeheim tells him to never call or talk to him again and hangs up. Now what do you suspect Katz thought Boeheim's response would be to him actually showing up at his postgame PC??

What do you suppose Katz's bosses' reactions would be if he DIDN'T go to the postgame? He was covering a game that I'm guessing he was assigned. He can't just NOT do his job because the coach doesn't like him. That's on ESPN for putting him in that situation, not on Katz for trying to do the job he was assigned.

And yes, you're still speculating.

How so? If KFz wants to play it close to the vest that's fine. Hayden liked to play things close too...but he had a pulse...a plan...and passion.
