Blocked PAT question.

I think Larivee was confused about the rule for returning a blocked PAT. I thought if you blocked the kick and returned it it was 1 point, not 6. Not that it mattered but he was pretty excited that if Iowa had a kick blocked that MSU could still win.

FWIW I have never liked listening to him. Does he still call the Bears games?

You get 2 points for returning an extra point after play. So Michigan St. could have tied it, that is why they had to run the play.

Iowa returned a blocked PAT for 2 points against PSU in 2002. Or maybe it PSU doing that. Either way, it was 2 points.
