And spell Butler with Young. My friends and I are of the opinion that if the hawks would have just pounded Butler and Young pretty much straight at Wisky with straightahead power blocking from TE to TE the hawks would have had at least 100+ yards two weeks ago.

First off, I love Wadley. He's done great stuff here and dealt with the Ferentzes trying to kill him every week in stride.

But, the reasons he flourished in '15/'16 were splitting carries with LD, an above average OL, and playing against much shittier defenses. 2015 opponents were horrible.

None of those are true today. We're playing better D's, our tackles are true freshman with no clue what's going on, and K/BF won't run Butler with him 50/50.

I honestly don't think he'll make a 53.

He's just too small. Welker and Beasley were/are stronger guys who can plow ahead once they have the ball. Wadley looks like Barry Sanders in the open field, but if college D-linemen can do this to him god help him when the guys are 4 tenths faster and 30 pounds heavier.

I'll also say this. He wasn't ready to go pro last year, but this year sure as hell hurt his draft stock. BAD.

Too bad Wadley didnt ask to carry 10 times from tailback, then be the jet sweep slotback with Butler at tailback, and also run regular routes as a slot back from empty backfield or with Butler/Young at tailback. Wadley could have shown his abilities.
