Black Friday game time up in the air

I still say the big ten should schedule 2 games each year on black friday. All involving Iowa, Neb, Minny and Wisc. But rotate the opponents between those 4 teams.
 
If it turns out that the iowa/wisky game is for the div. And blackfriday wont matter, then thr battle for the golden bull will be 2:30 and blackfriday will be 11. If blackfriday is for the div, then itll be 2:30.
 
If this Black Friday game is for the West title...it should be a later kickoff...maybe 2:30 pm or even a special time like 6:00 pm, on ABC after the UCLA-USC game. Pray for a warm day.
 
I am a little confused by this. If the Stanford-UCLA game is set for 2:30 on ABC and the only other P5 game on ABC/ESPN that day is Virginia-VT, then what is left to decide? Could Va-VT be move to 11am on ABC and Iowa-Neb end on ESPN at some unknown time?

Or could they go with a split audience on ABC at 2:30 ? With half the country on ABC and half on ESPN ?

This was not really explained very well. Is 7pm an actual option?

I would guess they would make 2:30 a split audience, as it is for almost every Saturday.

I would bet everything I own that 7pm is not an option.

Good call as I doubt late November is a nite game. Heck you could almost be playing under the lights at 4 PM.

That's it let's have a 4 PM kickoff on full flagship ESPN or ABC.

Let's make it pay per view on the Hawkeye Sports Network.

F that. Wisconsin, Nebraska and Iowa are fine, but nobody wants to get stuck playing Minnesota.
 
I figure if they ever want to play the black friday game at Minny at 6pm, they could move the game to that new dome they are building.

PSU '08 was a 230 kick, played on November 8th, and it was pitch black when the 3rd quarter started. A 230 kickoff for the Nebraska game would basically be a night game.
