Biggest Football Rival

This comes up every once in a while, but in the spirit of the resumption of our rivalry against Wisconsin, I ask:

Which one of these teams do you hate the most?

Note: I limited it to ISU and our 5 border rivals.

I voted for Wisconsin, although they weren't even in our division the last few years. I think they are the most like us.

Minnesota: Close second, but they have been at the bottom of the Big 10 for too long.

Nebraska: Not yet, but maybe. We have to beat them first.

Iowa State: We are kidding ourselves if we don't call them a rival, and it's the team we talk about most on HN, but they are not a Big 10 team, and the bottom line is, Big 10 games mean more.

Illinois: This was my #1 hated team when I was a kid growing up in Eastern Iowa. However, we never play them, so they can't be a rival.

NW: There coach hates us, it was nice beating them, but certainly not a long standing rivalry game for the Hawks.

Went with Minny. Last year I would have said Wisconsin, but my hatred has been reduced without Bielsma there. It should be Illinois for the exact reasons DJL said.

I just do not like Nebraska their fans get on my nerves they act like their still in the 90s winning. But the tryth is they aren't even close to what they use to be. Man I hope we can pound them in the ground this yr. GO HAWKS!

I went with ISU. Cannot stand that University. Maybe its my wrestling bias. But that is my least favorite program. Any sport. They cry and whune, while knowing Iowa is THE program in Iowa. I just dislike the Clowns.

Out of conf= isu

In conf= no idea, seems to change every few years. nebbu could become a good rivalry if we can start winning a few(especially for those of us Hawk fans that live in NE and those in Western Iowa.

The Big Ten thinks they would be leading. After all they are our fiercest rival year in and year out.
