ISU at home

or

Arizona on the road

Obviously we need to win both to have the season we want, but ISU at home doesnt make me nervous with this group of seniors. Arizona on the road does for some reason.

Going to both games Iowa st, if we lose to Iowa St we have to put up with crap all year long.

Personally, I would say Iowa State because I don't want to put up with "crap" all fall

If you want to have the season we want, ISU should have no business hanging with us (but we all know they will). We should and have to beat Iowa State. What is haunting me is the trip the Hawks took down to ASU about 7 years ago and got destroyed....I am really worried about Arizona!

My vote would be Arizona

We need our O-Line to get it in gear right out of the gates and I would feel better about both games. But we won't find that out until we play the games!

Go Hawks!

I'm worried about the trip to Tuscon, but it doesn't scare the daylights out of me by any means. That '04 trip to ASU was different. We had to replace Robert Gallery, Bob Sanders, Grant Steen, Mo Brown, Razor Ochoa (the leading receiver from the year before), Fred Russell. That's quite a bit. Not to mention Tate was in his first year as a starter, playing on the road.

And Arizona State had a Heisman-contender at QB, Andrew Walter. ASU was a better team in '04 than Arizona is now. Much better. And I think this Iowa team is much better than the '04 squad.

Agreed ASU was a 10 or 11 win team that year. Also note Iowa lost the following week to Mich then went on a 8 game win streak, 9 if you count the bowl win.

I would say Arizona. The main reason I say that is because I don't see this Iowa team losing a home game against what should be another bad Iowa State team(5-6 win team). Arizona should be pretty good, it's a night game and it's going to be tough. Arizona is the only stumbling block to what could be a 4-0 start.

This is a silly question. It's Arizona by a wide margin. They're a much better team than Iowa State, and it's a road game.

I will agree with an earlier poster that Iowa should roll ISU at home, so to me the Arizona Game is more important, because in general people see Arizona as a better football school than they do ISUx, so it would be a better measuring stick to beat Arizona there than ISUx at home.
