Big Win - Are We a 3 Seed in the Big Dance?

We better hope we grab the 3 seed because the route of a 4 and 5 would not do us well. If we cannot get a 3 I'd rather slide to a 6 seed.

4/5 seeds usually get pinned against pretty good mid major teams (12/13) and there are a lot of upsets in those games. Also, a 6 seed would avoid the 1 seed in the sweet 16 and we aren't competing with Baylor or Gonzaga.

A 2 or 3 seed is far more probable than a 6 seed IMO.

They're much closer to a 2 than a 6, but the line is fine and the margin for error is razor thin as well.

I agree. I think the worst we could possibly be if we win out is the top 2 seed.

Iowa is now 4-2 in February - with 2 blow out wins on the road at MSU and TOSU and 2 of those wins are over ranked opponents and one of the loses is to a team that is currently considered a 1 seed. This doesn't feel like same old Iowa to me, this year feels different

Realistically, we'll finish 2-2 and make it to the semis in the BTT and then get a 4 seed in the tourney.
