Big Ten vs. SEC in Bowls since 2006

Big Ten stats guy tweeted this the other day. Since 2006 the SEC is 25 -11 in bowl games. It has a 20 and 6 record against everyone not in the Big Ten conference. They are 5 and 5 against the Big Ten. The SEC is 7 and 2 against the Big 12 and 6 and 2 against the ACC. Again the SEC is 5 and 5 against the Big Ten in bowls since 2006. I only post this as we all know the happy pants that the national audience has with the South Eastern Cheaters conference. The Big Ten is on par in the bowls against them over the last few years. Most of the bad talk done when talking about the Big Ten vs the SEC, I'm sure is a result of Ohio St's lack of success against them in the BCS.

With that said I don't like the Big Tens matchups against the SEC this year. I don't know if Penn St. has enough to go into a quasi home game for Florida and beat them. Also, I think Michigan St. is going to get pounded by Alabama. I do think Ohio St. beats Mallett and Arkansas. But then I don't like Michigan to beat Mississippi St. Who does everyone have in those matchups?

Im in two different bowl game pools and in one I went all big ten just cuz i like to do that. Id like to think that any big ten team is gona do well against any team. In the other pool I did pick Bama over Michigan St. I just dont really think Mich st. is actually that good. I would like to see them win though. Other than that I did pick big ten for rest of games. the big ten has started well and i hope they can keep it goin

Sadly, nobody cares since the SEC has won NCs during that time and the Big Ten hasn't.

Winning some marquee out of conference games in season would help the Big 10 image as well.

Bama over MSU (Iowa gave them a blueprint for shutting down Sparty)
Florida over Penn State (No they can't go down there and beat Urban Meyer in his swan song game)
Mississppi State over Michigan (Are you kidding MSU almost beat Auburn and Michigan gave up 70 to Illinois)
OSU v. Arkansas toss up (Mallett's the best pure QB in the country with Petrino coaching him up I like their chances against a suspect OSU pass D.)

So that's how I see it folks!

Oh and a Persaless Northwestern is helpless against Texas Tech even though Tech played in a weak Big 12 this year. Yeah Yeah save it Cyclone fans look how your team's have faired in bowl games this year LOSERS!

Tide over msu, although I think this is a close game.
Penn st over Florida. This is not the same Florida team of the past few years..
Mich and missisipi st? Maybe msu. Not sure about this game.
Osu will beat ark easily.
There is no way nw can win. They are not the same team without their qb. They will get whipped.
