If there is a silver lining, it is how they responded to the losses that they had in the semifinals.
At the Midlands, the guys went a combined 13-12 in matches after they lost. This is somewhat inflated as Janssen won 5 on the back side to place 5th. Not that great, actually somewhat uninspired.
This past weekend, they put 9 in the semifinals, and lost 5 of them.
How would they respond?
8-2... One loss was to the #1 seed and the other was Marion's to Kennedy. 141 could be the most balanced but tough weight class in the top 4.
A huge step forward in how they dealt with adversity.
They got knocked down, got up and finished strong.
This will be good in a three day grueling NCAA tournament!!!
Anxious to get there to watch.
