Tied with OSU for this distinction? Nice!

Can't believe Purdue is 0-5 and is a tourney team. Who have they beat? Iowa would have a heck of a resume if they had Purdue's record and those 3 top 20 wins.

Purdue's resume is really pretty hollow. They are beating the teams they should beat at least, but have no real strong wins to rely on. But with such a soft bubble this year, their resume will probably hold up and get them in at a 10 seed or so.

So they are pretty much the Big Ten's equivalent to Iowa State then?

They have the Hummel factor as well. They beat a good Temple team on a neutral court, and they also beat Miami in the non-conference.

Iowa State at least beat Kansas. That's as good a win as anyone on the bubble has. If ISU finds a way to win 1 of their last 3 (@ K St, @ Mizzou, vs. Baylor) they are in the dance.

Purdue's loss to Butler doesn't look quite so bad anymore either as Butler is starting to heat up and the Temple win helps a lot, but I wonder if losing a starter in Barlow affects the committee's view on this team at all.

ISU has 4 left, TT and the 3 you mentioned.

What if they beat Tech, lose the other 3 and lose to KSU or Texas in the Big12??

Some ESPN expert has ISU in as a 9 seed. After drilling TT, they will have 20 wins and should pick up one more of the remaining 3. Not sure why they don't get any top 25 votes, but unless they have a meltdown, they should be in the dance.

This is what you get with a talented, but young, team. The only thing consistent with a talented, young team is inconsistency. When you start 2 freshmen, 2 sophomores and one senior and the 1st guy off the bench is another sophomore, then you're going to get games like Campbell, Clemson, Nebraska and Penn State and on the flipside, get games like Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana.

Kinda weird if Iowa was to somehow beat Wisconsin they would have a winning record against ranked teams and still probably not make the NCAA tournament.
