Big Ten loaded next season

Nope, I'm not lowering expectations. I think Iowa is better than Wisconsin. Those games weren't flukes at all. Yes, Gatens went off in Iowa City, but he was a non-factor in the game at Wisconsin. Iowa just has better athletes than Wisconsin and it gives them problems. I'll be really interested to see how they do without Jordan Taylor next year.

As for Minnesota, I think Iowa will split with them. Mbakwe will give them a big boost. Remember, Iowa lost twice to Northwestern, yet they don't have Shurna back, so I don't see that being 2 losses next season. Iowa can split with Indiana as they pounded them in Iowa City this year. Iowa will be even more talented next year imo. Gesell will be better than Cartwright and Woodbury gives this team the presence Iowa has been missing down low. Not to mention he will free up Basabe, who I think responds with a big junior season. Marble is on the verge of stardom imo and White will be a handful.

I have Iowa finishing in the top 6 of the conference next year and making the NCAA's.

Michigan, Indiana, MSU, OSU, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minn, Purdue, Ill, NW, PSU, Neb

Glen Robinson III will be talked about for conference POY
Trey Burke is the best PG in the BIG
Hardaway as the third option and not 1 or 2 makes him scary good

Michigan will be a little short on their bench, but they didn't play many more than 8 players most of the time this year.

Indiana needs to prove they can play on the road.
MSU has one stud (Harris) coming in, but it has been a while since MSU has had that impact freshman when they have been that highly rated.
OSU still has a ton of talent and they are pursuing one of the best C prospects out there to help replace Sullinger
Iowa has a solid core back of hard workers and add a lot of athleticism in the backcourth that has been needed for some time. Oglesby breaks out and White is 2nd team All-BIG.
Wisconsin will win most games at home, but losing Taylor will have an effect, we will have to see how positive or negative it is. They have a couple of young PG's behind him that learned this year. Dekker is an animal and will be in the POY talk as well.
Minnesota with Mbakwe may be better as long as it doesn't displace Williams.
Purdue has a bunch of role players back, I compare the talent they have coming back to Iowa, but they had upperclassmen and weren't forced to play, their recruiting class will determine their season.
Illinois lots of talent, but new coach this could be a sleeper team
NW, PSU, Neb in the spots they are most familiar with and little expectations. NW with their shooting ability will be a scary team to play at NW, the other two should not compete at a high level, even at home.
