Big Ten Icon

Does anyone know if Nile is one of the Big Ten icons on the BTN? I thought i saw his picture in the introduction for the show...so I assumed he would be. I looked online and he wasn't from 50 to 14. Hopefully he is in the top 13. I would like to see that.

He hasn't been listed as of yet. I'm sure he will be, and my hunch is that he will be the number one icon. I do realize that I'm biased but the guy is on the coin that is flipped before every big ten game. How do you get more iconic then that?

I assumed he would be top five, but after that ''Best of the Heismans'' program last nite where he was rated #10...I am starting to wonder if he will make the top ten.
Unless every guy in the top 10 is a football player I am thinking that Nile will not be up there. Winfield was #15. Otto Graham is #14.

He was number 10 because they were listing by date of the trophy, past to present.

I hope to see him at #1 also. I know I'm biased but I can't think of any BigTen player in any sport that is more "iconic" than the one who won the Heisman Trophy and gave one of the most famous acceptance speeches ever, is on the BigTen coin (as mentioned earlier), lost his life in military operations, and has a BigTen stadium named after him.

That is an icon.

Don't know if he'll be number one (personally hope he is). I think it'll go to a tOSU or Michigan person.

I've not been keeping up, but I'm sure Magic and Archie will be high up there. Has Bob Griese been unveiled already?

Kinnick will be in the top 5, but he's got some stiff competition for #1.

Archie Griffin has got to be top 5, only dude to win 2 Heismans. Started 4 Rose Bowls and rushed for 250 against Iowa. 31 consecutive 100 yard games....
