That scares me. If the middle isn't stout it really doesn't matter how good the ends are

This with 75% new guys in the secondary (granted, the "new guys" do have some game reps) gives me pause for concern. I think they'll wind up being okay, but still just inexperience.

Wiegers career stats: 3/4, 32 yds, 0 tds/0 ints.
Stanley career stats: 5/9, 62 yds, 0 tds/0 ints.
3rd string qb played WR last season.
4th string qb: True Freshman with no college experience.
MVB is a good slot receiver but coming off braking the same bone in the same foot twice in the last 9 months.
All other WR's have little meaningful to zero game experience.

Which in the KF era means we'll have a starting qb putting up heady numbers for attempts, completions and TDs. Plus we have Brian basically in an open audition for being the next HC for Iowa. Even with two of the best RBs in football ground and pound are not going to be the end all and be all. We've still got Vandeberg and a bevy of potential coming into the program. Have this OL learn the finer points of pass-blocking and things could get scary good real fast for Iowa.
