Shut up dude. I've been to more Hawk games in my life than 99% of people on this board. I've donated and had season tickets for years now. Just because I thing the big ten was overrated this year doesn't make me a non hawk fan.

I'm aware of louisvilles resume. But they still finished 7th in a conference most on this board thought was down this year and they just smoked our top team

As mentioned, they're peaking at the right time. And Pitino is one of the best coaches of all time. That's a deadly combination.

MSU's guards,mainly Appling and Trice,went into a shooting slump at the worst time of the year...in the NCAA tourny. When they played Iowa in the BTT,they could not miss. In the last couple of games SLU and Ville played off of Appling and dared him to make a shot,and he could not come close or even make free throws.
Dawson was coming on gangbusters before he went down,and that really hurt MSU also.
Big Ten is the deepest league this year,but Kentucky,UNC and Cuse had the most talent.

OSU vs Cuse should be a good one...Go Buckeyes.
IU vs Kentucky....oh oh. Kentucky will have the top two picks in the draft in june in Davis and Gilchrist-Kidd....and maybe 5 guys picked in the top 20..they should win this thing...if they do not,Cal is a bum coach.

You are right that doesn't make you less of a Hawkeye fan, just less of a knowledgeable basketball fan.

MSU was not a great outside shooting team this year except for Wood. They were making a living by hammering opponents inside with Green, Payne, Nix. Last night they ran into a difference maker inside which negated much of that game frustrating them. Dieng blocked 7 shots and altered many others. Then the threes were not falling outside of Wood - game over.

You beat MSU always by first by neutralizing them inside and on the boards.

Uhhhh... you guys realize this is a single elimination TOURNAMENT right? Regular season wins vs. top 25 teams/strength of schedule is all that matters. So a team has one bad night and all of a sudden the conference is weak? Tournaments are a joke.

The Big10 is fine...there are very good teams all over the country...the Pac12 being the exception apparently...

It wouldn't surprise me if Ohio State wins the whole thing (unless they play Kentucky since OSU can't beat the SEC...or is that just a football thing?) or loses today...

Don't tell me we're going to start this lame crap in basketball as well, it's nearly ruined football. Wisconsin was within a shot of upsetting syracuse and Michigan state played a terrible game that night, it happens.
