Big Ten Basketball Preseason Preview: #8 Iowa

CUN3 is a treasure on this board, and his contributions are as important as anyone here, including myself.

I want to be moar liek him, not the other way around. This place needs moar CUN3's and fewer Basketballman's.

This. Although your 3 day hangover articles have pushed you to a different level than the mere moartals. Legeaders status.

If our unending love of animated .gifs and memes makes our boardmance wrong, then I don't want to be right.

McCabe tied with Marble for 3rd on the team in 3's with 22, behind Oglesby's 45 and Gatens' 75. McCabe was first on the team in percentage at 44.9%, ahead of Gatens at 41% and Oglesby at 37.2%.
None of that qualifies him as a "sharpshooter".

I actually thought the writer did a nice job of not making the readers feel like complete morons by stating the obivous in Aaron White.

But alas, woe is my sorrow to see le kool-aid addicts in this thread suckling on the teet of stupidity once again.
Cleesh? Did you write the article, buddy? Hmm?

Why does any one care what the "rant" predicts or projects in Big Ten BB for 2012-13?

Others before me have pointed out the HUGE flaws or omissions in another webby thingee rant "analysis".

These people know even less than us Hawkeye homers that talk out of our arse more often than not with out any real research.

I'll be shocked if Iowa is not in the top 5 or 6 in the Big Ten this year. The Hawkeyes now have in place too many really good coaches, too many really good players (maybe even an NBA player or 2 on the roster) and waaay too many hungry players, coaches and fans not to get into the "Dance" in March 2013.

I think outsiders, while not as intimately familiar with the team as Homers, are able to view the team with perspective that Homers cannot. While you're correct, no one should care what he thinks, and he does make some roster omissions, his conclusion is solid and worth taking stock in.

Also, I'll be shocked if Iowa finished 5 or 6 in the BoneG. As of now, no one is even close to looking like the same universe as an NBA player, and while we have a very good coaching staff, we also face half dozen of the best coaches in the country.
