I have always disliked Florida state. Actually, I have always disliked any Florida program. But I will be a Seminole fan for one night. Down with the sec. I hope auburn lays an egg and Winston destroys them.

I think I actually get more satisfaction from seeing any sec team lose than I do seeing any other B1G team win (besides the hawks of course).

It's hard to be an Ohio state, Michigan, or Nebraska fan even for a couple hours during bowl season. Blah
 
Funny Wisconsin looked like world beaters until they stared playing teams with a pulse. That said, their D was about like Iowa's IMO. However their O was a lot more explosive than the Hawks'.

I just can't figure out Why michigan strugles so much. They have good recruiting, good athletes....they won the Sugar Bowl 2 years ago...WTF is up with them?

Minnesota just plain sht the bed. It looked like their bowl prep wasn't what it could have been. No doubt they're frustrated with how things worked out for them. They're not used to winning. I think they'll get there.

Nobody, I mean nobody, outside of the Iowa fan base thinks the hawks defeat LSU.
 
Rutgers played ND ok, considering they were huge underdogs. Adding NJ to the Big Ten footprint is very helpful to the Big Ten, long term, for recruiting...same with DC and Md. They will be buried in the Big Ten East, but their states produce tons of recruits.

I am disappointed at Minny and Michigan's performances. But, not shocked. Both teams had losing streaks going in the Big Ten at the end of the season...Michigan lost like 4 of last 5 in the Big Ten? So, does that mean the Big Ten is good competition, that kicks Michigan around like KSU?

As for Minny, they lost badly to Wisky and MSU, Michigan and Iowa...so no shock that they are not a great team is it?

The true test is from here on out....the top 3 Big Ten teams are the limus test, with Iowa as a wildcard. No one was saying that beyond the top three were great teams. If Iowa loses to LSU as a big dog, no shock, but if they win, it could turn the momentum back toward the league.

Wait and see.

Only someone marinating in their skid stained drawers, among 30 empty cans of Code Red Mountain Dew, in their mother's garage loft, wouldn't understand there are actually 8 B10 teams playing in bowls this year...

Well look on the bright side, we can now claim winning a basketball national championship in 2002. Who could forget that classic title game played between bitter conference rivals Indiana and Maryland?
 
According to the B10 Network you can and they are the judge end of conversation. I love watching Tom Osborne's epsisode of B10 Elite he was the greatest coach in B10 history hands down. Hawkey Nation please stop living in the present and start living in the future.

I've seen this come up a lot lately, especially among Isu fans. Does anyone ever stop to think that ultimately Nebraska owns the broadcast rights to any Debbie game footage and <gasp> there isn't a Big12 network to play that on anyway. Also, 24 hour channels need filler content so "hey look, stock footage!"
 
So is this a thread about Maryland and Rutgers not yet being in the B1G or a thread about the B1G's incompetence on a football field?
 
Minnesota slept walked thru their bowl game. Probably were better and should have won....Last pass landed right in receivers hands...no catchy. Goophers never win bowl games. Their just happy to get out of Minny and party someplace warm. Michigan played without their QB and really fell apart second half of season. I'm not impressed by SEC this year. Alabama was the only consistent team. Not much defense played in the SEC this year. Auburn is lucky to be playing in the title game - I think they are 3rd or 4th best SEC team. No title this year for the SEC, FSU will crush Auburn. Big Ten has a shot in the rest of their bowl games. MSU has the best D in the country even without Bullough. If Wisc can get a lead and pound the ball, they can win..Clowney is clowny. Hate OSU & Nebraska so no opinion...clouded judgment. LSU will wish they never came to Tampa...win or lose they take a beating. Think Miles will try a stupid trick play and get burned....HAWKS WIN!!!
