I'm anxious to see this D-Line. I really hope they come out with some good energy. From article:
“Everybody seems to have questions about the defensive line. That’s OK,” Davis said. “It does kind of annoy me, hearing people talk about us like that, but it’s all part of the territory.”
“It’s by far our most inexperienced group ...” Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said. “I like what I see. They’re working hard and have a good attitude. Bigach has emerged as a leader and Louis Trinca-Pasat has done that in his own way. It’s going to be a collective effort, but we’re making progress.”
Hawkeyes center James Ferentz said Davis has the blend of size and speed it takes to be successful on the defensive line.
“He does a real good job of carrying his weight, not losing the speed off the snap of the ball,” the Iowa senior said. “He’s going to be a good one. Like a lot of guys we have around here, he just needs to play.”
