PG Tim Frazier is out for the season with a ruptured achilles tendon. Happened Sunday in an 85-60 loss to Akron.

Ouch. I want every advantage Iowa can get against an opponent but this sucks. Feel sorry for the young man.

I couldn't believe this when I read it. That is really going to make it tough sledding for them this year. I honestly won't be surprised to see them only win one or two games in conference this year.

You never want to hear someone so gifted be sidelined by this type of injury. He is an exciting player to watch.

This is truly a shame,as Frazier was definitely one of the most exciting players in the league.

Cannot imagine he will return for another year,as he is a senior now.
