Big 2 Big Passing / Tyler Cook

One of the many positives I saw last night was how Pemsl and Cook are starting to gel together. They each had a few good passes to one another for open looks. Such a luxury to have big guys who are good passers.

Cook's ability to pass makes him a matchup nightmare in pick&roll situations, especially when Jok or Bohannon have the ball. The defense has to honor their 3pt shooting ability which often times leaves Cook with a free roll to the basket. He is a good enough ball handler and passer to make a play when the help comes, or if it doesn't come quick enough he can slam it down like so:

Interestingly enough this is how the Warriors use Draymond Green, who is someone Cook models his game after. Hopefully Fran & Co will keep using Cook as a screener in pick&roll situations. Very tough to defend.

We just have so many options this year. If they keep getting better as the year goes on, they might be one of the best teams in the conference by the end of the year and still not make the tourney.

I also think our players have been watching Cook dunk so much they've all kind of developed this try to dunk on someone persona. Moss has tried to throw it down over people a few times this year and Uhl tried to jam one on Swanigan last night. Wagner and Williams have also thrown down traffic dunks at times too.

It's a very high percentage shot...can never have too many IMO.
