Big 12 Sucking??? K-State also

I hope if Oklahoma goes undefeated from now through the end of the schedule they do not make the playoffs again.
They’ll win the B12 and get to the playoffs.

You going to put 4 SEC/ACC teams in the CFP?

Remember that no B1G or PAC-12 team is going to get in, there’s really no other choice. It’ll be two SEC teams, and one each for the ACC and B12

You don't think OSU is getting in? I'm not sure what the odds are but I bet they are pretty high that they do

Not on an 8 game season, and not on a schedule that contains Rutgers, Maryland, Illinois, Nebraska, Indiana, and Michigan State.

I agree that it shouldn't. But... It's OSU... Iowa running the table with that doesn't get in for sure. OSU didn't help push to do all this to NOT get a chance to get a ring

I think OU stands a pretty good chance of losing a second game with that defense and a first-year quarterback; that would knock them out of the playoff picture. And, they lost a major talent at wide receiver also.
And I think that OSU gets in with an undefeated season. But they have to do it first. I could see two SEC teams getting in, Clemson, and OSU.

I totally agree that Oklahoma is up in the air, but no matter who it is the winner of the B12 gets in.

The way I see it will be The SEC champ, SEC runner up, ACC champ, and B12 champ.

No way OSU gets in on that schedule imo.

That would mean the B12 champ getting snubbed and no way do they do that, especially since they were one of the three conferences that stood up and forged ahead with a normal schedule when the B1G and P12 cancelled. The B12/SEC/ACC are brothers in arms this year.

Let’s say OK (or whoever wins the Big 12) finishes with one loss, and let’s also say the SEC runner up has one loss. There’s just no way the committee takes an 8 win OSU over the Big 12 champ when they played 6 teams who were sub .500 in the conference last year.

The SEC/ACC runner ups will also likely have two or three more total wins than Ohio State at that point.

If the Big Ten wanted in the Dance, they should have started on time.

I agree that if the Big12 champion has one loss they will probably get in. Not sure if that will happen but OU could recover and Texas could have a shot as well. I still believe though if OSU goes undefeated they are in. The committee is going to have a lot to think about no matter how it turns out.

It will be interesting. But I can't think of a possible softer 8 game schedule than what OSU has.

Either way we're counting a bunch of chickens before they hatch with covid going on. October 24 is a long ways away, and 3 and a half weeks might as well be a decade in 2020.

I couldn't agree more. There will be losses in college FB that no one sees now and, like you say, COVID will have a role in this as well. It will be a chaotic year.

LOL.

Lincoln Riley is feeling zero heat. He's won the conference every year since he took over, made the playoff every year since he took over, and has a brand new $46 million dollar contract.

This isn't Nebraska.

Oklahoma ain't giving their coach an ultimatum for losing two games to K-State.

Was not aware of the big contract extension, yeah that is a lot of dough to payoff if firing a coach. He may not be in hot water with the AD etc but the fans have to be really let down.

I see TCU wins at Texas with their starting qb who either missed all or most of the ISU game they lost. Explains a lot. The qb had some heart issues and I wonder if it was covid related.

It was reported that it was something that he had his entire life but they just discovered it. Kid is from Council Bluffs Lewis Center HS. Hawkeyes have recruited several from there.

I don't know what y'all are talking about. There are 5 games that involve Big 12 teams today and they're going to win all of them. Try to give them credit where credit is due.

Okie State should walk away with the National Championship. They're killing Les Miles, which is something that rarely, if ever, happens.
